Program Overview
This guide answers the most common questions families have when exploring Bloomfield Arts & Crafts Studio — how our programs work, what your child will experience, and how enrollment fits into your family's schedule, values, and goals.
A Structured Creative Education Studio
Bloomfield Arts & Crafts Studio is a structured creative education studio where children learn by making. We offer hands-on art, craft, sewing, and crochet programs that help students build practical skills, confidence, focus, and creative problem-solving — guided by trained instructors in a welcoming environment where children are supported, encouraged, and taken seriously.
Creativity at Bloomfield lives within structure. This helps students feel capable, confident, and proud of what they create — whether they are brand new or building on existing skills.
Who Our Programs Are For
A strong fit for families who value:
We are not a career-prep or portfolio-driven studio:
Our focus is on skill-building, confidence, and enjoyment of the creative process — not training children for creative careers. Programs are grouped by age and skill level to ensure appropriate pacing, safety, and support.
Weekly Classes, Camps & Parties
Weekly Classes
The foundation of Bloomfield's programming. Classes meet once per week on a consistent day and time, and students progress through a defined set of skills at their own pace — with an emphasis on consistency, confidence, and visible progress.
Camps
Camps run during school breaks and provide multi-day creative immersion — predictable daily structure, multiple projects and activities, and a balance of guided instruction and creative freedom.
Parties & Special Events
Creative celebrations designed to be fun, organized, and low-stress for families — instructor-led projects, clear pacing and structure, designed for groups and special occasions.
By Area
Supports developing and advancing creatives across multiple age groups. Younger students build strong foundations, while older students engage in more complex techniques and independent decision-making.
Introduces students to fiber arts while building focus, patience, and pattern-based thinking. Projects increase in complexity over time, so students see clear improvement week to week.
A progressive, skill-based program focused on building real, usable abilities over time. Projects grow more complex as skills develop, and age placement may also consider readiness.
How Enrollment Works
Bloomfield uses a membership-based enrollment model for weekly classes. Camps and parties are booked separately when available.
$100/month flat rate (subject to change) — four classes per month, your reserved weekly time slot, and all instruction and materials included. Families enrolling more than one child receive a 5% sibling discount.
Families choose one specific day and time and keep that slot each week. Want to switch? You can request a change based on availability, and students may move between art, sewing, or crochet once age requirements are met and space allows.
