About Bloomfield Arts & Crafts Studio

Bloomfield Arts & Crafts Studio is a joyful, creative space where kids and families come to paint, sew, crochet, craft, and explore their imagination. We help parents find meaningful, hands-on creative programs that build confidence, creativity, and skills in children.

Position Overview

We’re looking for an Enrollment & Sales Specialist who loves working with people, can confidently explain our programs, and enjoys helping families find the right fit for their child. This fully onsite role combines talking with interested families, explaining our art, sewing, and crochet classes, teaching fun discovery (trial) classes, and helping families enroll and follow through.

You’ll be the main person families talk to before, during, and after their first visit to Bloomfield. Your goal is to make parents feel confident about choosing our programs and make kids excited to return.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Lead Follow-Up & Enrollment

  • Contact parents who have expressed interest in Bloomfield programs
  • Ask questions to understand their child’s needs and goals
  • Explain art, sewing, and crochet classes clearly and simply
  • Recommend the best program for each child
  • Lead short, hands-on discovery (trial) classes that are fun and interactive
  • Follow up with families after their trial or discovery class to convert them into enrolled students
  • Follow up with families who haven’t enrolled yet

Bookings & Retention

  • Follow up on birthday party inquiries and bookings
  • Follow up on class bookings to keep enrollment numbers strong
  • Monitor and help reduce drop rates by making sure students are having a great experience in their program
  • Upsell current customers on other Bloomfield programs, including parties, camps, and workshops

CRM & Communication

  • Keep our CRM fully and accurately updated with lead, family, and enrollment information
  • Reach out to new and existing customers across our communication platforms
  • Build strong, positive relationships with families

How You’ll Be Evaluated

Success in this role is measured by:

  • Number of new leads generated from our website and other channels
  • Conversion rate of leads into booked discovery/trial classes
  • Conversion rate of trial/discovery classes into full program enrollment
  • Follow-up completion with prospective and existing families
  • Birthday party and class booking follow-through
  • Program drop/retention rates
  • Upsell revenue across parties, camps, and workshops
  • Accuracy and consistency of CRM records

Who This Role Is For

This role is perfect for someone who:

  • Is confident speaking with parents and kids
  • Enjoys helping families make decisions
  • Has basic knowledge of art, sewing, and crochet (or is willing to learn)
  • Can explain programs clearly and enthusiastically
  • Is friendly, organized, and proactive
  • Can sell without being pushy
  • Loves working in a creative, fun environment

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Creative, positive, and hands-on work environment
  • Make a real difference in kids’ and families’ lives
  • No boring desk job — interact with people and kids daily
  • Training provided on programs, discovery classes, and enrollment conversations

Our Core Values

Our work is grounded in five core values that shape our culture and guide our team every day:

Collaborative Spirit — We work together as a team, showing up for each other and for our students so nobody’s carrying the studio alone.

Safety — We prioritize a clean, secure, and healthy environment where every student feels safe to try, mess up, and try again.

Respect — We treat students, parents, and staff with respect and professionalism, in every interaction, every time.

Reliability — We show up when we say we will. Dependability and consistency are how our families come to trust us.

Creativity — We think within and outside the box, and we inspire each other to do the same — because creativity is contagious.

We believe in a thoughtful hiring process that’s fair to both you and our studio. Here’s what to expect:

  1. Application — Submit your resume and a short cover letter.
  2. Initial Conversation — Selected candidates will be invited to chat about their experience and fit with our studio’s values.
  3. Skill Check-In — A brief, informal conversation or role-play covering how you’d talk with a prospective family.
  4. References — We’ll reach out to references to learn more about your work and how you show up on a team.
